Getting indexed by Google or any other search engine is not rocket science. People used to think it was a black art but these days it is very easy to do. There are a whole host of ways to do it:
- submit a sitemap to Google.
- submit your URL to Google.
- post a comment on a blog and include your URL in the “website” field.
- write an article and post it on an article directory like EzineArticles. Make sure to include your link in the resource box.
- put your website in your signature on forums that allow it.
- put your link on one of your existing websites.
- ping your RSS feed at a site like Pingomatic.
- answer a question on Yahoo Answers and quote your site as a resource.
This is barely touching the surface of how to get a link indexed. Ultimately you only need one inbound link and the search engines will find it. Putting your link in more than one sure doesn’t hurt though.
